Prospective clinical evaluation of a machine-learning trained algorithm for detection of arterial pressure transducer drop
2022, Intelligence-Based MedicineCitation Excerpt :More recently, monitoring platforms have begun to derive advanced hemodynamic parameters [1–3] or predictive analytics [4,5] from the arterial pressure waveform, or even use these measurements as input to automated management systems [6–9]. As the arterial pressure waveform may be compromised by a number of forms of measurement error [10,11], a method to identify such error may help prevent downstream errors in such devices. We have previously developed algorithms capable of detection of different forms of arterial waveform error from only the features of the waveform itself [12].
