A twin infant was born at 23+5 weeks’ gestation by vaginal delivery after spontaneous onset of labour. He required inflation breaths and was intubated at 4 min of age. He was admitted to neonatal intensive care unit and received artificial ventilation but was otherwise haemodynamically stable. Birth weight was 0.593 kg.
