    We read with interest the leading article on timely immunisation of premature infants against rotavirus in neonatal intensive care units (NICU) which highlighted the immunogenicity, safety and efficacy of the vaccine.1 The authors recommend that neonatologists need to report their experience with rotavirus vaccination in order to guide future recommendations.1 There is apprehension about the vaccine with almost 40% of UK neonatal units not implementing the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation recommendations in a recent national survey.2
