Effect of Light Reduction on the Incidence of Retinopathy of Prematurity

*   Abstract

We tested the effect of ocular protection on the incidence of Retinophaty of Prematurity (ROP) in 188 newborns with less than 1600g in a randomized controlled trial. Our results did not show any effect of ambient light reduction on the incidence of ROP.
